Steve is co-owner and founder of Pegasus Financial Group. Steve, along with co-founder Gail Fialkow, were determined to provide quality and caring financial services to everyone as needed. In 2007, they created a firm where the client-advisor relationship is focused solely on a client’s needs, goals and dreams. They continue to act as fiduciaries in putting the client’s needs first.
Steve earned a B.S. in Business Administration from High Point College. After college he joined the Army as Second Lieutenant, stationed at Fort Carson, CO. After the Army, he joined Proctor & Gamble where he developed over 19 years of business experience in Sales, Management, Strategic Planning, Marketing and Organizational Effectiveness.
Steve left P&G to pursue his interest in Independent Financial Planning. He continues to have a passion for helping people solve problems, reach their goals and enjoy their lives. Steve enjoys being a part of key milestones, like new marriages, new homes, new babies. Helping a child be admitted, and graduate from college. Working to make the dream vacation happen or making the goal of retirement possible. Playing a small part in helping clients fulfill their dreams and aspirations, is what Pegasus Financial Group is all about.
When Steve is not focused on helping clients navigate their financial life decisions, he is busy checking off items on his bucket list. This mainly includes playing famous golf courses within the U.S. and around the world. Recently Steve and Tina have built their future retirement home near Wilmington NC and look forward to one day spending time lounging at the pool, or beach between rounds of golf, and games of pickle ball.
Steve and Tina have been active members at AUMC since 2001. Steve is currently the Chair of Finance, and Tina currently works as the Chair of Communications at Arcola United Methodist Church. Steve and Tina have 2 children – Travis and Lauren – who both work full-time in Education Sales and Marketing respectively. Travis lives in Burke, VA, and Lauren recently moved to Knightdale, NC, where the cutest baby boy Owen resides. Yes, we are prejudiced grandparents.
